Description

Chandra Gauntlet:
I posted all the parts and directions you need for your own 3D print here:
www.thingiverse.com/thing:2029…

Design:
-Based off the Chandra Funko figures and Chandra's style sheet.
- This is a 33.5cm (13 inch) two-part gauntlet made from six pieces (plus the push-light)
- Important: the front part is sized to fit a medium sized male hand.

Making it:
- Print the parts (mine took ~24 hours total for all pieces going at 0.15mm layers)
- There’s holes alone the axis to attach parts using small metal dowels (Amazon: tinyurl.com/hhgnwbj).  Or if you're bolder you can just epoxy/hot glue/superglue 'em together too (though that's less stable if you were to drop it).
- I printed mine in ABS at 18% infill.  The walls are ~4mm thick so it makes a nice, hearty armor shell!
- Glue and/or putty the joints smooth and secure. Join the two parts of the pipes into the bottom, then join both together with the center piece.  This was probably the trickiest assembly bit, but turned out fine with some hot glue and patience.
- I left some mounting holes in the design to screw in some straps. I used polypropylene webbing (1 inch), velcro, and D-rings.
- Finally my favorite part, just stick on the push light (Amazon: tinyurl.com/jpgvof5) onto the front part.  You can even change the batteries!  Wooo!

Enjoy!
